Funding from the STFC for the Eyes to the Sky project

We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in a bid to the Science Technology Facilities Council (STFC) for funding to develop and run our Eyes to the Sky project

Eyes to the Sky is a project designed to introduce 240 8-12 year olds to the work of people from STFC organisations, funded facilities and projects who are observing the Universe and Outer Space and to what they have discovered about the questions of "What's in outer space?" and "How did the universe begin?

The Eyes to the Sky project will be delivered through a programme of workshops based on a hybrid model of live classroom and online webinar-based delivery.  Young people will also be set the challenge of creating art-based visualisations of What is in outer space?

Their work will be showcased in a Deep Space Virtual Art gallery that will be based on our Virtual Mars Art Gallery https://4fvirtual.org.uk/gallery/
