Phil Atkinson - Trustee - Chair, Director 4FInnovations

Phil started his career at 16 as an engineering apprentice; he is now a Senior Leader, Principal Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Programme Manager, working in scientific research on UK and International large scale science projects and facilities.

Utilising his broad experience; in the design, integration and operation of particle accelerators and large-scale complex engineering. He is actively involved with the NW regional skills agenda from an employer perspective and leads for his organisation on skills and heads up their apprenticeship programme. 

Phil is a passionate supporter of education, social mobility, skills development and lifelong learning. Phil is an experienced school governor in primary and secondary and currently  a Chair at a Cheshire school.

Nasim Ibrahim - Trustee

Nasim started her career in fashion and has had a diverse range of experiences in several fields including management, Fraud Investigation and working with children on the Autistic Spectrum. For the past 12 years she has been in Secondary Education using her passion and experiences to inspire teaching in and out of the classroom. She has experience of coaching and mentoring students to raise the outcomes through several projects and opportunities.

Nasim is pro-active, driven, highly adaptable and extremely passionate about positive outcomes for young people in achieving careers in STEM related careers that are gender balanced.

Della Thomas - Trustee - Vice Chair

In 2015 Della established her own business, having worked since 1997 within the area of Talent and Skills. She has extensive experience of coordinating and driving through Projects, leading teams, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams and creating shared value.

 Della is a multi-skilled, highly adaptable person whose experience has been developed across a range of industry sectors and within the public, private and third sectors. She is particularly passionate about supporting others for the benefit of themselves and society.

 Della is a Community Governor of Nantllwys Primary School, in North Wales and acts both as a Chair and a Member of various Skills Groups in the North West.
